Kodachadri is in Shivmoga dist, 1343 mtrs above sea level. Kodachadri lies in the Mookambika Wildlife Sanctuary.
The mountain is 1343m tall and is the highest peak in the Shimoga district of Karnataka.
During sunset the Arabian sea can be viewed from the sunset point. There is also a sunrise point from where a breathtaking
view of rising sun is made possible. The Lingamakki reservoir is also visible from the peak.
Kodachadri is a trekkers paradise with adventurous trekking routes through the waterfalls to the peak.
Kodachadri hills are also a great place for Trekkers.
Arisinagudi Waterfalls and Agastya Teertha Waterfalls are the points of interest nearby.
A night tented stay can be done. In case of any weather disturbances there is a Inspection Bungalow and a
temple guest house with good food on request.
